The Business of the Future (16" x 40"digital mixed media on paper)

Steve and I visited our friend Lana in New York for a weekend and stayed in the strangest and most wonderful warehouse/loft/club/living-space we've ever seen. Every floor was covered in art - robots were spraypainted on the walls, huge 3D sculptures of candy littered the ceiling. Even though I'm terrified of heights, I fell in love with the roof garden and took about a hundred photos up there. The message "its the business of the future to be dangerous" was stenciled on the door leading to the ladder up to the roof. Somehow it seemed to fit the mood of the space as well as the people who inhabited it..
